Magic eye Morris....for those old enough to remember.

NO nothing to do with "magic our Morris"....long time since i heard that.
Anyway i digress from my post.

Just to let you know if anyone requires a feed from the back of their SKY box so that they can watch the same thing in another room then drop me a line and we can discuss.
Also known as SKY TV Link.

The reference to Magic eye ??? well if you want to be able to control your SKY box from that other room then you will also need a magic eye to do so.

You can either order one yourself of let me know and i will order one for you and fit it at the same time.

Sales pitch over...for now :-)

Ashley Guest House York - Review

Back to the future....and back again to work.
Just returned from a great weekend away in York.

We stayed at a wonderful B&B just outside the center.

It is called Ashley Guest House and details can be found here - http://www.ashleyguesthouse.co.uk/

Its owned/run by Phil & Emma.

We were made to feel very welcome upon our arrival and throughout our stay by both Phil and the one member of staff that served us during breakfast.
She was efficient and very polite.

We have stayed in a lot of places, both in this country and abroad and it would not be an exaggeration to say that Phil cooked the best breakfast i have personally ever had.
Oh and anyone who happens to stay here should also try the breakfast bars - They are lovely! - Home made from a Nigella Lawson recipe.

The rooms were very clean and had everything in you could need from a B&B.
We stayed in room 4 - Now we knew what we were getting but i would not stay in that room again for one reason. It doesn't have an on-suite. The toilet is located just outside in separate room. It is for the sole use of that bedroom but it makes it awkward.
Also there is a very nice large roll topped bath in the bedroom but sadly no shower.

But as i say we knew this before we went and the room was great.

On our way home we decided to go to a fab little place called The Farmers Cart about 8 miles down the road.
I shall be doing another post on this for those of you interested. Well worth a visit!
